Time Lapse London

London is an amazing place, no doubt about it. That video didn't show the crowded seediness of parts of the city. It was obviously made with tourisim in mind.
It also didn't show the unavoidable rain. They must've spent an entire summer filming that short clip to get so much rain free, non-overcast footage. Still it's worth going to see. Even a brief business trip turns into a history lesson. Perhaps the earths greatest city, and certainly the Anglo-spheres best. A pity it hasn't been free for almost a century...

Armaggedon Rex (old school) Anglophile

Without researching this, that may be Regina Spektor. I'm not aware of her working with backup singers, or especially that driving rhythm. But those vocals and those lyrics, do put me in the mind of her.

At first I thought it was Melanie, but it's (You've Got the Love) by Florence and the Machine.
