Bob Inglis gets bitchy

GOP leaders let demagogues
set tone, lawmaker says ...

That would be soon-to-be ex-lawmaker Rep. Bob Inglis (R SC), showing contempt for the  sheep who had the temerity to end his 12 year sinecure in the House of Princes.

WASHINGTON — Too many Republican leaders are acquiescing to a poisonous "demagoguery" that threatens the party's long-term credibility, says a veteran GOP House member who was defeated in South Carolina's primary last month.

While not naming names, 12-year incumbent Rep. Bob Inglis suggested in interviews with The Associated Press that tea party favorites such as former vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin and right-wing talk show hosts like Glenn Beck are the culprits.-  Blah-Blah-Whine
Does anyone know how to make a graceful exit anymore?

The most graceful exits I can think of lately are Kennedy and Byrd as they caught the early train to Hell.

graceful? Kicking, screaming, and holding on?

You're right. The events preceding their exits were definitely as graceful as creosoting a cat's ass.

Hmm. As I think about this, that is the proper punishment for any political critter that refuses to be responsible. The only problem is getting the creosote. While you used to be able to buy buckets of the stuff, it's now considered a controlled chemical.

Inglis: STFU and GTFO. You are irrelevant. You prove you're really a Democrat when you say the GOP "leadership" is going along with Beck and Palin which is their meme and couldn't be further from the truth. For now.

I'm expecting him to declare himself either an independent or Dem any minute now.

WV: bangings.
