I've concluded that islam's defenders on the left are either:
1. ignorant about islam's goal of imposing sharia law on the entire world by force, or
2. just being contrarian, because the right grasps the truth about islam, and those lefties just have to be the opposite.
There's hope for the first group, maybe. There's no hope for the second. -

I was in church, it is a long story... I dislike this priest and he has been "demoted" to the local college because of his views, but I attend this church... again, long story, but the priest was talking about how the Mosque needs to be built and how wonderful it is that Islam respects other religions.
I kept thinking about how they blew up those stone carvings in the side of the mountain. -

I must be all wishful thinking, or just being ignorant contrarians since many of us conservatives see nothing redeeming in islam (having done basic historical research and connected a few more recent dots related to general mayhem, unrest, and iron fisted intolerance) and make no bones about our dismay with the cult.
It is a destructive, intolerant, political system that masquerades as a religion. Anyone of good will that did the least bit of research into its founder would recoil in horror and disgust. -

In regards to being "contrarian", at some point the "urban-liberals" that compose the largest American gangs will embrace Islam due to it's anti-white America stance. It will provide them religious protection, organized funding and leadership. Then going against a Crip will not only be an act of racism, but one of religious intolerance. You heard it here first.

Lefties hate Christianity. Islamists hate Christianity. The Lefties figure "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" therefore Lefties love Islamists.
Islamists will just kill them last because Islamists don't like the values Lefties espouse. They don't want their daughters dressing like Brittany Spears or Lady Gaga. They think Amy Goodman and Rosie O'Donnell are abominations.

Commies don't care who starts a revolution or what it's about. They intend to take it over and finish it. Ex:
1. Russian Revolution —> Bolshevik Revolution
2. Cuban middle-class revolt —> Castroite Revolution
3. Nazi Germany, "black before red" (unfortunately for them, Hitler betrayed 'em).
That's why you see them back every friggin' thing that weakens American traditionalism. It doesn't freakin' matter to them. They'll deal with (i.e. slaughter) the Muslims after they come to power. -

In the doctor's office today I was forced to watch CNN HLN. The story was about a child asked to check out of a "very conservative" (their words) Anglican school because the lesbian mothers both showed up together. Their question, do you think this is fair? My question, do you think they could take a dip in the planned swimming pool at the ground zero mosque and out reach center? When that religious freedom stuff is espoused for Christians, the lefts hypocrisy knows no bounds.
