Vladimir Ilyich Obama

Virginia stands to feel the most pain from defense cuts

It's likely to dwarf the effect of jobs lost at International Paper, Verizon Wireless, Cooper Vision, Smithfield Foods and USAA, said James Koch, economics professor at Old Dominion University and co-author of the annual State of the Region report.

If those previous closings were storms, Koch said, "this is going to be a hurricane."

Obama stirs the party faithful

Revenge. That's my read on yet another Obama initiative (see Utah land grab) that hurts a state that's entirely at odds with his style of government.  Virginia has been in the forefront of resistance to his health and immigration stands, and I see this as no coincidence.   But, that's just me.

Yep that is exactly how I read it too. Plus I think he is jealous of how popular our awesome governor is (and how capable) and is just petty enough to think this will make Bob look bad. Bob ran on being a 'jobs' governor and has brought in a lot of new jobs in the short time he has been in office- what better way to nullify that in one fell swoop?

Bastards.

Which is why you are not just the Barn Army AG, but the VA AG's inspiration.

TFV - don't forget our awesome AG Ken Cuccinelli, who will hopefully be our next governor. Between the two of them, we may secede yet before the halfrican wetback is gone.

Yes - Ken Cuccinelli kicks ass too! I loved reading how he used the fed's own words against them in fighting against Obamacare!
