I want to believe that the Israeli's perped this thing, and that the report of infection in the US is a red herring.

The biggest problem I've seen is that if anything DOES happen (like through their own carelessness or stupidity in handling nuclear materials) and a section of Amadinadingdong-land goes up in a bright blue flash, WE will get the blame no matter what.

And a quarter of the planet will believe them no matter how much scientific evidence we present. Last week's Mr.Nutball 9/11 address to the UN is a perfect example of that...

I'd rather that that particular 1/4 DOES think we nuked em, and by extension we will nuke THEM, if they continue to behave badly

Given the sophisiticated and complex nature of this virus (and what it can really do--like takeover a nuke plant whenever it tries to breed weapons grade plutonium, and return it to normal, power-generation only safely, and locking out any human input)and the cost of gathering those gifted enough to build it--I don't think this was Israel. The cheaper option for them is an airstrike, even if they lose every plane in the fleet. This has NSA all over it. Possibly delivered by Mossad. Could be we just had ahmadinnerjacket's laptop on one of his many visits to the US, and let it propagate from there, or we put it on the "Man Love Thursdays" and "Goat Love Fridays" listservs,attached as a "OMG! Sexy Ankles!!!!11lebenty" file.

Gets them every time.

Oh, and they obviously didnt read the EULA that says you shouldnt use windows for running nuclear power plants.
