That intro reminds me of sixth grade theme writing. Each student was assigned one of the states. A friend and I both began with the sentence: "______ is one of the most important states in the United States." Very basic.

Of course, winnie mandela was busy acting as proxy with her "necklaces" while nels was locked up, but that's never brought up.
