Assemblyman Brodsky Introduces Bill That Would Give State The Right To Decide If You Are To Give The Gift Of Life If Passed In Albany, Law Would Be First Of Its Kind In The United States

Whether this bill passes is secondary to Assemblyman Brodsky indulging his fucked-up sense of entitlement to meddle with other peoples lives, and introduce it.  And, that are enough like-minded neighbors to elect him to public office.   Brodsky is the face of today's Democrat Party.  How the hell do you deal with people like him? They're like cockroaches.

N.J. Court Will Hear Arguments
in Menendez Recall Case

The New Jersey Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that it will hear arguments in Sen. Bob Menendez’s (D-N.J.) appeal to halt a tea party effort to recall him from office.
They'll probably decide to swap Menendez out for Bob Torricelli

Doggies

Awwww

This morning I went to sign my Dogs up for welfare.  At first the lady said, "Dogs are not eligible to draw welfare".  So I explained to her that my Dogs are  mixed in color, unemployed, lazy, can't speak English and have no clue who their Daddys are.  They expect me to feed them, provide them with housing and medical care, and feel guilty because they are dogs.

So she looked in her policy book to see what it takes to qualify. My Dogs get their first checks Friday.

WOW! this is a great country.

Film maker Leni Riefenstah toiled for the National Socialist Party.  At least she was a  babe. Our  democrats rely on Michael Moore's cinematic legerdemain  for the same purpose.  That would be conditioning  hearts and minds to accept the joys of socialism.  Moore is not a babe , otherwise they are the same wretched person.   It didn't escape my attention that Moore was strangely silent, muzzled no doubt, during the 2008 campaign.  I'm guessing that Obama, already strapped to myriad radical leftist baggage, decreed a ban on Moore pork. Last night he was back, on Larry King's between-being-cuckolded show.  At least one person was viewing, since we have this account from Newsbusters.

On Tuesday’s Larry King Live on CNN, after guest Michael Moore joked about there being possibly 100 million Sarah Palin fans in America who "want to, you know, shoot moose from a helicopter or whatever else that they think that's cool that she does," King questioned whether there are really 100 million people who approve of moose hunting and then joked, "I think that there’s 100 million moose who’d like to shoot up to the helicopter."

Earlier in the same show, as the conversation focused on the new law cracking down on illegal immigration in Arizona, after making a Nazi reference by joking that the measures remind him of Hogan’s Heroes, he ended up charging that a "bunch of bigots in the Republican Party of Arizona" are to blame for the law. Moore: "I think it's the result of a bunch of bigots in the Republican Party of Arizona. That's, that's what it's the result of. And it's sad that they're behaving that way and it makes the rest of us look bad as Americans."

Did Sarah Palin ever shoot Moose, or any other living thing  from a plane, or helicopter?  No. Her support for "shooting wolves from helicopters," falls under this rubric.

[Disclaimer:  I hate Michael Moore's guts]

"They Should Thank Me For Cutting Taxes!"
Obama-Rama- April 15th, 2010

Fine Print

The hodgepodge of new taxes that have already or will soon take effect as a result of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act may not all show up in the income tax tables, but their huge cost is still very real. This cost will become most apparent in lost wages and international competitiveness, and it reduces middle- and low-income families’ wages just as surely as an income tax hike would. These taxes break President Barack Obama’s promise not to raise taxes on families making less than $250,000 per year.  ObamaCare’s impact on taxpayers
*gush* Oh Mr. President, you're too good to us.

Jerman v. Carlisle

Reader John B. alerts us: “If you haven’t already seen it, there’s excellent Overlawyered-type rhetoric from Justice Kennedy in Monday’s Supreme Court opinion on debt collectors’ liability under federal statutory law. Unfortunately it’s in the dissent

Wrote Kennedy:

[The Court's decision today] aligns the judicial system with those who would use litigation to enrich themselves at the expense of attorneys who strictly follow and adhere to professional and ethical standards.

When the law is used to punish good-faith mistakes; when adopting reasonable safeguards is not enough to avoid liability; when the costs of discovery and litigation are used to force settlement even absent fault or injury; when class-action suits transform technical legal violations into windfalls for plaintiffs or their attorneys, the Court, by failing to adopt a reasonable interpretation to counter these excesses, risks compromising its own institutional responsibility to ensure a workable and just litigation system
Oddly, Scalia and Breyer joined Sodahead in the majority. I don't care enough about it to research what this was about, but as a stand-alone declaration, Kennedy's is granite worthy, IMO.
