I have to think that even those who don't view Obama as the greatest disaster to befall us in all of American history must at least be worn out by the sonofabitch.  This is like having cancer of everything.

REVIEW -- Obama: Not Man Enough to Be President

LET'S REVIEW (From October 2008) Obama: Not Man Enough to Be President
Not Man Enough

In an essay in early September I asked: Does Obama Possess Courage?

Obama is very much a man with “a hand full of gimme and a mouth full of much obliged.” Just this morning, as he has for so many mornings, he wrote to me asking for five bucks. This after he squandered so many millions just last night with his noninfomercial for flaming narcissists of all five genders. It’s obvious the man and his minions can't handle money.

Quite an accomplishment

Hail DeMint!

DeMint comes out against tax deal,
says GOP must do ‘better than this’

On both counts. I’m glad the President recognizes that tax increases hurt the economy. I mean, I guess that’s progress. But frankly, Hugh, most of us who ran this election said we were not going to vote for anything that increased the deficit.

This does.

It raises taxes, it raises the death tax. I don’t think we needed to negotiate that aspect of this thing away. I don’t think we need to extend unemployment any further without paying for it, and without making some modifications such as turning it into a loan at some point.   Hugh ... we don’t need a temporary economy, which means we don’t need a temporary tax rate. A permanent extension of our current tax rates would allow businesses to plan five and ten years in advance, and that’s how you build an economy.

Jim DeMint the Impaler
DeMint is right.  The path Republicans take here will define them in as being serious as hell, or face savers who settle for Pyhrric victories.  If they choose the latter, they can never rise above that mark.

Out, damn'd spot! out, I say!
What is it they do now? Look how they rub their hands.

It is an accustom'd action with them, to seem thus washing their hands. I have known them to continue in this a quarter of a century.

Yet here's a spot.

Hark, they speak. I will set down what comes from them, to satisfy my remembrance the more strongly.

Out, damn'd spot! out, I say!—One; two: why, then 'tis time to do't.—Hell is murky.—Fie, my lord, fie, a soldier, andafeard? What need we fear who knows it, when none can call ourpow'r to accompt?—Yet who would have thought the old men to have had so much blood in them?
