Why the GOP is so sorry-ass

Jeb to GOP: How to Appeal to Hispanics
Me to Jeb: Stop That Crap Now Dammit!

Everyone in the country by now knows about Teddy Roosevelt's Hyphenated American thing and go all blah-blahy over it;  but then keep doing it anyway. When you set out to appeal to ethnics, you give voice to the worst of them.  If Hispanics are here legally, have the courtesy to treat them the same as everyone else, without distinction.  If they're here illegally, do the lawful thing and expel them.  Sheesh.

Alas, elections are not won on reasoned thought.

Hell, you guys are the ones who came up with crap like "Bush Derangement Syndrome" when guys like me bitched about the peckerhead Bushes.

I'll vote for Obama before I'll vote for another Bush. There is no difference, other than magnitude of wrongness. If that's even a word.

jd,
Most of us spent as much time complaining about W as the left did/does. The difference between us and those with BDS is that we never had to make stuff up to bitch about.

Jeb's wife is Columbian.

Jeb's wife is Mexican, not Columbian. Her name is Columba Garnica Gallo Bush. She was born in León, Guanajuato, Mexico in 1953. Jeb met her there when he was 17 and went to Mexico as a high school exchange student. They were married in 1974 after Jeb graduated from the Univ. of Texas.

If you recall, unchecked illegal immigration grew under GWB's watch also.
Seems he comes from a long line of hispanderers.

No, it's not illegal immigration.
When they come, not to be one of us, but to establish their old way of life, be treated differently, change our political system, commit crime, hold allegiance to their old homeland, and steal our stuff ... it's an invasion.
Real immigrants love America, they don't whine about it.
