Obama polarizing? Say it ain't so.

Most Polarizing since Eisenhower?!?
IKE?
If there was anything notably polarizing about Eisenhower's presidency in 1954, it happened in American classrooms after 1970.  More polarizing than Bill Clinton?  Well, they are Gallup's numbers, so never mind.  I might be confusing with most hated , feared and despised , but still.

There used to be a joke about the "Ike Doll": you wound it up and it did nothing, for eight years!

The last populist president, he was smart enough to see an historic post-war prosperity and stand back to let it happen. I liked Ike.
