Only two cheeks! That means if you hit Jesus he turns the other cheek. You hit him again, well...what? He turns back to the first cheek? Or, what I like to think, is he pummels you with the strength of the Almighty til your a F***ing bloody lump of broken bones and ruptured arteries. Son-of-God-striking dolt.

Sigh, in the Middle East if you strike someone with the back of your hand it shows contempt. If you slap them with the palm on the cheek you are not showing contempt but issuing a correction, as you would to a family member, a child for example. So turning the other cheek has several different interpretations. If struck with contempt on one cheek and you "turn the other cheek" you are telling the striker one of several messages. "OK, now strike me as you would a friend who was doing wrong and I'll accept it." for instanct.

I am saddened, frustrated, & amused at the ignorance of Christianity in this country today. It's pretty funny whenever Liberals start spouting their ignorance to try to justify their positions. Angered when they try to tell me I'm not a good Christian if don't think Jesus was a Marxist like they do.
