Turncoat Fresnman

Today's Harshed Mello

For all the sound and fury of the class of GOP freshmen that succeeded in pushing Speaker John Boehner to cut extra funds from the continuing resolution spending bill, a Friday vote to cut $22 billion more actually split the class, only garnering the support of about 65 percent of them.

...lawmakers from safe Republican districts were more likely to vote for it.
Bullcrap.
My district is the most conservative in all of Virginia. My Rep, Maj. Leader Cantor, voted against it. He is toast in 2012 if a Tea Party type runs against him.
The only justification I can find is that with across the board, non specific cuts, Uhbama would get to decide the specific "what" to cut in each budgeted department. To deny Uhbama that kind of control is probably a good thing.

Rep. Cantor is known to us, VA Gun Owners, as someone who often sides with the "enemy" (or appears to side with the enemy, which is the same in practical terms). When appointed as Majority Leader, we knew we had to work even harder, since his vote for conservative ideas will never be a sure thing. He belongs to the youngest generation of the establishment GOP, a RINO, a Democrat-Lite. He has to go. I'm surprised he didn't get the memo last time. These day, we cannot afford second chances.
