It's an example of a symbiotic relationship at a hippie colony relic in Zearing Iowa.
The hippie gets his or her lips cleansed of aphids, and the ladybug receives food and a chance of a mind boggling high just by taking in, through her spiracles, the pot laden exhalation of the hippie companion.
A new symbiotic relationship seems to be developing between a type of local dung ball rolling beetle and the plentiful hippie "dingleberries".
A painless but time consuming process, and the hippies are inert for long periods, thereby facilitating the process.
