Yes, I spent some time over there, indeed a vast and total wasteland...mudfields mostly.
Covered with useless peat moss, an acid producing thrash which prevent anything else from growing.
Exploration on the American side was mostly by hovercrafts, thanks to the enviro-nazis...the most useless and inefficient vehicle ever invented.
On the Canadian side, they just used wide track tractors...who made tracks(who would last a thousand years, cried the hippies!)
Hold it, in those track grew GRASS!!! Caribou and musk ox ate the grass and themselves grew ten time as fast as when only eating mosses, which have as much nutrients as tree bark. -
