Was trying to figure out why he was jumping attached to a wheelchair but I see they separated and each had its own parachute. I am sure the wheelchair ended up in the water.

If this is any measure, it looks like things turn out OK about 80% of the time after jumping from that bridge. How he survived is a wonder. A few more feet in either direction and he would have either drowned or ended up in the rocks.
