Maryland, My Christmas Tree

Maryland Moves to Pass Controversial Tax & Alcohol Laws ...
Brilliant Maryland Voters
Maryland has passed two hotly debated measures raising taxes on alcohol and extending in-state college tuition breaks to illegal immigrants, officials said.

The increase in taxes on alcohol is the first such hike in more than a generation, while the tuition bill makes Maryland the 11th state to approve tuition breaks for illegal immigrants ... .

As you know, I abhor the idea of a civil war.  One of just a few alternatives left to us is to expel certain states from our union [and then declare war on them.]  Maryland must be included in any such list.

Please! Please attack the PRM (People's Republic of Maryland). We, under the daily oppression of the Maryland General Asylum beg of you.

We are unable to revolt from within. But, when the attacking forces cross the Potomac, we will stand and fight with you.

Can't wait until VA lets the 'free market' run their liquor stores. The Nice and Wilson bridges are but 35 minutes away...

I guess they never heard of Bootlegging.
Also by giving preferential treatment to one "minority" group another minority group will get upset. Lawsuits and community reprisals loom on the horizon. Aiding and abetting felons could bite them hard if the Federal government goes conservative control in 2013.

In Tallahassee, back in the day, the milkman delivered on Tuesdays and Fridays,
and Jake the bootlegger made deliveries on Thursdays. Dad's weekly fifth of Seagrams
was as dependable as the postman.

Entrepreneurs, Maryland is calling.

If they'd reverse those, they might be on to something.
