That was good. I think that I recognized over 90% of the cars before the tags came up. I remember cruising The Peacock Drive-in with car-hops and sneaking a trunkful of kids into the Timonium Drive-in theater. Ameche's near the beltway on Loch Raven Boulevard. Skippy B.'s Grey Ghost, a '53 Ford 2-door sedan with a nailhead Buick in it. Bob H.'s 1960 360 Ford Starliner hardtop in purple. He dropped so many rear ends in it that Ford eventually voided his warranty. Sam Z.'s '38 Ford coupe with a '48 Merc. flathead. We had a '57 Chrysler New Yorker 4-door hardtop in two-tone blue and white. Did I mention the 392 hemi?

My Dad still had his first car when he died. A '38 Olds 2 door coupe. Brother ended up getting it.

You're writing my biography!
My dad had a - wait for it - pink 57 Plymouth with a 392 hemi. Push button shifting, big fins, yearghh.
Remember Knox's and Murray's ice cream stores at Loch Raven and Taylor before there was Ameche's? And a little old timey Sunoco station on the Northeast corner?
If you recall Timonium Drivein, do you recall picnicing and watching submarine races at "The Pines" at Loch Raven Reservoir?
I used to ride my one speed coaster brake bike up Loch Raven Blvd. thru farms to Loch Raven Reservoir to fish at the Little Dam or the first bridge.
Now it's solid apts, rowhouses and malls all the way from the city line where I lived to the reservior boundaries. Sigh...
