California is the USSR, without the nuclear weapons. In time, the lack of resources will cause a great migration away from the economic madhouse. Those left will be inconsequential wards of the state, waiting in lines for their daily bread.

It's OK. All those affiliates, at least the big ones, will have reestablished their business presence outside of California before the law takes effect. Bottom line, instead of increasing tax revenue, they drive more out of state.
