If you were trying to destroy the country, what would you do differently?

His ideological economic theory doesn't surprise me, but his openly stating it shows a real degree of situational ignorance. It is very poor politics to say something like that given the current budget fight and polling data on what the public thinks. Moves like this are starting to be pretty typical of the brain trust Obama surrounds himself with.

The putz cannot run a TurboTax program without cheating. He was on the job in NYC when all the CDS merde coated mortgage securities were being traded and he ignored it.
He just doesn't understand that there isn't enough money, even if taxed at 100%, to cover what the expletive deleted's in DC want to spend.
He doesn't understand why there is little to no job creation, especially when they have pumped all this money into the pockets of the chosen ones...
He's dishonest and incompetent. That is not a good combination in his position.

Unfortunately I think you are spot on Tim. Rush has been saying for a while that the only logical explanation is that the ARE DELIBERATELY TRYING TO TAKE OUR ECONOMY DOWN.

Implementation of CLoward Piven seems to be the most likely explanation. BTW - those were a pair of professors from Columbia U. Who else supposedly went to Columbia after finishing his studies at the madrassaa in Indonesia.??
