Reason enough ...

The Cedar Falls, Iowa city council voted 6-1 to make residents give up keys to their  businesses and some residential properties.  For  for the sake of "security."  I'm not making that up. Tomorrow, more of the same.

First thing to do after giving up the keys is ask for the keys tothe councilmember's houses - or change the locks on the doors.

LOL, this is sooooo incredibly redonkulous. Professionally, I had a brush with key control at multiple sites with computer controlled access boxes, which cost a couple grand each, and hundreds of users with varying levels of access. This is the very definition of a hairball, and if one of those council shitheads had even an inkling of what this involved... they would not have done it. That's why firemen have axes. Doors are cheap.
