If you wrote this in a novel it wouldn't even be fiction, it would be fantasy.

Sadly, a Romney win will negate any chance of recovering our economy or our freedoms lost the last 3 years. Then we'll just get the next Soro's kid.

In his situation, most of us would be casting around for new advisers. One suspects that his fantastic ego will not allow him to admit failure and change course. When you surround yourself with toadies, which is all they have, all you get is smoke blown up your ass. How can he admit being wrong when everyone around him assures him that he is right? He'll get mad and mean. That won't play well.

He "launched" class warfare long ago. Now, he's pouring gasoline on the fire. He asks, "Are you willing to compromise your kids' safety so some corporate-jet owner can get a tax break?"

He sickens me.

Are you willing to compromise your kids' safety so some corporate-jet owner can enjoy the tax breaks contained in my stimulus bill which was passed by my DemonRatic Congress and I signed?

While that's sorta good news, my toothbrush could do that well against Captain Bullshit. Repubs need to work harder, attack him mercilessly with with facts and his own quotations.

Lt. Col. Gen. Tailgunner dick is brilliant. I'm just saying!

Have ANY Republicans (besides Palin and Bachmann) discovered their Cojones? I got a fund raising call from the RNC last week and, being unemployed (by choice), I gave them a proper earful. Told them I wouldn't support any of their gutless wonders any longer and they could all kiss my fat Hungarian ass, just like the Dems are kissing the Soros posterior!

Gayle and Lt Tailgunner Dick, I find it very interesting that no man has the courage of his convictions that Bachmann or Palin have. So many want you to vote for them (plain vanilla) when these women are the real deal and are a full course of medicine. I think our country needs this medicine as we are very sick - in fact Liberty is dying. Big guvm't is going to be the death of us all.

The left has vilified Sarah and Michelle as haters and all the rest of the rhetoric but, we know better and love them both. I would love to see an estrogen-laden ticket with both running pres and vp but, that would be a pipe dream right???

To have real patriots - not mealy-mouthed, smarmy wimps who side-step and punt the truth down the road makes me want to puke. The rest of the repub candidates (save Cain) are really wimps and just won't speak truth to power. I want a president with courage - REAL COURAGE who will call a spade a spade no matter what is politically expedient. To have a president who does not use the wet-finger test to see which way the wind blows would be wonderful. The fact that this alone makes me happy is indeed sad. It shows just how bad things have become.

Palin-Bachmann for 12! Could this ever fly? I think it would soar and I would work hard to make it happen. Would any of you?

I don't think two women on the same ticket will fly just yet. I'm thinking Palin will emerge as the candidate however, and if she by-god thought Bachman was the best #2, she'd pick her. I don't think Bachman would the same. Palin's 2008 experience taught her a lot about who to listen to (her inner man first), and who not to (anyone associated with the DNC or GOP). I think Bachman would be undone in the initial giddiness of being the nominee, and succumb to the "wise men." Still, they're the best two out there.

Gayle - thank yew! (blushes)
Gayle and Bolivar and Rodger - ditto to what all y'alls said. I'm sick to death of candidates for any office spouting platitudes and generalities, all the while testing the wind rather than wearing their hearts on their sleeves and letting the chips fall where they will. That's why I loved Allen West from his first town hall onward and sent him money, even though I'm a thousand miles from his district.
