It was a dark and stormy night ... .

A SHORT STORY IN A SINGLE PICTURE

Clark impatiently looked at his watch— for the second time in a minute. With a heavy sigh of resignation he picked up the carving knife.

"Well kids, it looks like your mother ran off with another man.  No use waiting any longer.  Let's eat."

"Dibs on the drumstick" cried little Sarah.

During my divorce , the x would sneak out after I'd gone to bed . She thought that I was unaware , but one night before I went to bed . I tied the front bumper of her car to the shelving in our garage . You should have seen her trying to explain the mess to the kids the following morning ! PRICELESS ; ) > SMIBSID

Normally, I'd stop and help a lady in distress like that.
However, she's pumpin' without her high-heel shoe on, so she obviously knows what she's doin'. Reckon it would be sexist of me to interfere with her independence, in that case.
