Rep. Jim Jordan: The Right Stuff

Today's Greatest Republican Who Ever Lived
Jim Jordan:  Next House Speaker?

Jim Jordan - USA UAS USA

U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan's open defiance of Speaker John Boehner's efforts to solve the debt-ceiling crisis could cost the Urbana Republican his safe seat in next year's election.

Two Republican sources deeply involved in configuring new Ohio congressional districts confirmed to The Dispatch today that Jordan's disloyalty to Boehner has put him in jeopardy of being zeroed out of a district.

"Jim Jordan's boneheadedness has kind of informed everybody's thinking," said one of the sources, both of whom spoke only on condition of anonymity. "The easiest option for everybody has presented itself."

Jordan's rural 11-county district, which has a 60 percent Republican voter index, "is easy to cannibalize because it stretches so far," said the other source. [Payback may be coming for congressman's 'disloyalty']

If Boner's a hidebound jackanapes, and he is, then Jordan must be very speciual indeed. Carry on sir.

Yes, but you know, where he lives it would be hard to put him in a district that he can't win, unless they run a hundred hard wide corridor up 71 to Cleveland. He might have to go head-to-head against someone. I'm guessing Jim has more friends in the statehouse than Boehner. Besides, poking Jordon in the eye could make him a statewide candidate, and the boys back home don't want that.

Sheesh. It's knuckleheads like this that will guarantee four more years of Wookie parties in the White House. Is that what we want?

Bobby - not clear - Are you saying Jordan or Boehner is a knucklehead?
I guarantee you one thing - any money we give Uhbama will go toward buying votes. And the Dems will do a Lucy/Charley Brown kick the football with cuts if we don't get the cuts as statutory cuts up front rather than as promises of cuts down the road.

Nothin personal against Mr. Jordan, but the Torquemada wing just does not have enough juice to carry a national vote... The goal is to win, to be wookie free, and right now it looks like the best bet is Gov. Romney.

What's so bad about that anyway?

n.b. A certain element of the Torq. wing of conservatism also has an unholy desire to involve government behind our private closed doors. To us that is contrary to the conservative principles of individual liberties, and is offensive.

It will be a cold day in hell before anyone who calls themselves a conservative votes for Mitt socialized medicine Romney.

Fuck him and the horse he rode in on.

When does Sherrod Brown's seat come up for re-election? Maybe Jordan could ride RINO disses to a Senate seat?
I am a native Buckeye, and still have a soft spot in my heart for Cleveland of the mid 70's ... So many memories.
