I think CBS should cut all their staff, except for a few technicians and broadcast nothing but NCIS reruns. If they do that, I can honestly say I think CBS should stay on the air.

As I prepared for bed one night in October 1993 the station I was watching (C-span? CNN?) was doing live coverage of the showdown in Russia between Yeltsin and the Commie legislature. I watched all night, and slapped an 8 hour tape in the video recorder. I still have that tape. The standout moment for me was when the Yeltsin partisans stormed the state controlled television station and shot damned near everyone. That was the tipping point that led to Yeltsin's win over commie hardliners. Lesson: He that controls the media, wins.
