I know, let's let 16 year old's vote!

Maryland My Christmas Tree
Maryland 5th state to set a uniform voter registration age of 16

Teenage crush on commie teacher
Wow, and I was advocating taking the vote away from women and anyone on welfare.

I hope there's a special democrat hell that's especially well-suited for them.

Can extending the franchise to lab rats be far behind?

I am with Heinlein on this. No Military service? No vote!
No Military service? No Citizenship.

Heck, give the yet-unborn a vote.
After all, they're gonna hafta pay for the spending they haven't been able to vote on.

They are barely trusted with the keys to the car...
They are not trusted to be able to consume alcohol responsibly...
They pay no taxes and own no property, so what do they know about 'that stuff'? Mom and Dad provide the three hots and a cot.

These asshats want them to vote?

Akshually, the deal is to avoid the hassle of challenged votes on election day. Everyone is Registered {somewhere.. How many times?}! Pile 'em in a van and haul them down to the nearest poling place.

I was not able to vote in the first election I was old enough to vote in because I was somewhere in the middle of the Indian Ocean. I don't know of one shipmate that voted.

WHY do people who do not contribute to the treasury get a say in how the money is spent?

I maintain that if you don't pay taxes, you should not get to vote for congress.

That would go a long way towards fiscal reform.
