In their own words ...

 "... look no further

.Rotting AF1...  look no further than the recent debt-limit debacle, which clearly showed that we are becoming two nations governed by a single Congress—and that paralyzing gridlock is the result.

So what to do? To solve the serious problems facing our country, we need to minimize the harm from legislative inertia by relying more on automatic policies and depoliticized commissions for certain policy decisions. In other words, radical as it sounds, we need to counter the gridlock of our political institutions by making them a bit less democratic. [nee Obama budget director Peter Orzog]

And there's this:
Rotting AF1 "I think we ought to suspend, perhaps, elections for Congress for two years .... [N.C. Democrat Gov. Bev Perdue]

UPDATE -DESPITE CLAIMS: AUDIO SHOWS NC GOV'S 'SUSPEND ELECTION' -- NO JOKE!...

But wait!before you think that democrats are thinking what it sounds like they're thinking, Ezra Klein sets things straight.

“We need less democracy” is a good headline, but if you read the piece closely, that’s not actually what Orszag is arguing. Rather, he’s arguing that we need less Congress. And that’s a bit different.

Hmmm. Ezra, that's pretty much what we thought he was saying.  That the stinking congress is an impediemt to strict Obama rule.  The kind of Obamathink that's pervading the democrat (not democratic)  debate.  It's been noticed before.

Obama’s 2012 Campaign Strategy — Incite Civil Unrest
One of our most read articles published in 2010 (EXTRA: Obama Suspends Civil Liberties ) , dealt with a hypothetical scenario where Obama inflamed civil disorder in order to institute Martial Law and in doing so, suspended the 2012 election.

Obama Team to Incite Race Riots; Use White Guilt in 2012 Election
Since riots and uprisings are now en vogue the world over and with signs that they will soon reach the shores of America, would it be that much of a stretch to suggest President Obama’s election campaign would be willing to incite race riots in the hopes of guilting white Americans into casting a vote for a President who is progressively losing popularity and support at an ever accelerating rate?

She has good reason to fear the 2012 elections.

Absentee ballots cannot repair a landslide.

Ezra Klein graduated from UCLA. His parents should try to get their money back.

And this - http://www.nytimes.com/2011/09/28/world/as-scorn-for-vote-grows-protests-surge-around-globe.html - seems to be pushing the same "talking point" from a slightly different angle.

If it's not the ballot box, it can only be the cartridge box... just sayin'

If that's what they were trying to do at the Wall Street demonstrations, Tony Baloney pretty much finished that. Any govt crackdown from now on will be met with a wall of video cameras, many recording to a distant computer in case someone "accidentally" erases the images. Any govt violence will be all over the internet. BTW, why haven't we seen it here? Or have I just not scrolled down far enough? It's a natural for here.
