Why We Win

WHY WE WIN

Private Boris

One of the serious problems in planning the fight against American doctrine, is that the Americans do not read their manuals, nor do they feel any obligation to follow their doctrine*...

American soldiers sing this song, OODA, OODA....
American battlefield all day long, OODA all day.
Gwine to fight all day, specially fight at night,
American soldiers sing this song,
OODA always.

Initiative is ingrained in the American fighting man each and every day - after basic training. It's hard to account for it in planning.

My understading was otherwise. So I'll change it to "some Kraut loser". They haven't won a war since 1870.

Kinda like the French. The last war they won was their own revolution. But they were fighting other Frenchmen.
