That gives me chills. Not his near miss mishap, but that there are people out there that stupid walking around with loaded guns.
It's why I don't hunt anymore.

Dick- I was deer hunting in Virgina and looked up from the glen I was standing in. Saw at least three rifles pointed at me from the ridge. My last hunt.

Seriously, my last scare and hunt was when I walked over to a guy on the next stand to help him drag a deer out of the woods. As I bent down to grab ahold, he tucked his 1100 under his arm, then swung the muzzle in an arc a foot past my nose. Pointed out what he'd just done and asked him if he unloaded -
"Nope safety's on though."
"And there is a round in the chamber and the hammer is back and are you even sure which way the safety goes, and in any case, you just pointed the gun at my head."
I left him and never went hunting again.

When some retard glasses me with a scope on a rifle, I aim back at him until he gets a clue and stops.
One had the gall to try to yell at me about it.
I simply told him he was damned lucky I didn't shoot him for pointing a rifle at me. -
