One thing's for
certain: There will be venison on the Garrett family table this holiday
season thanks to 7-year-old Gus. Taking part in a Youth Day hunt last
weekend with his father, Michael, the second grader bagged a Sika doe
on his very first shot. The Garretts were part of a group hosted by a
good friend on his Dorchester County farm. Garrett said it's an annual
event and this year Gus was ready to take part.
Michael asked his boy if he
wanted to shoot one of the does, but "he tells me he wants to wait for
a stag!
