Patrolmen discovered the actress' body 200 yards off Blue Cavern Point on Catalina Island, 100 yards away from the yacht Splendour, after a seven-hour search. I fell in love with Natalie Wood after seeing her in 1963's Love with the Proper Stranger, costarring Steve McQueen.  Aside from the tasteless jokes (it's American to joke about tragedies - shhhhhh), I remember rumors that she was involved in a 3-way with husband Robert Wagner (of whom I knew nothing) and Christopher Walken (of whom I knew even less).  Why is this being reopened?  Well, it's Hollywood; this is the 30th anniversary; so do the math.  Damn she was pretty;  looked very much like my future bride.
