Prediction: Mitt will be the nominee
Rotting AF1
I hate reading from the same page as E.J. Dionne Jr., but ... . I've always felt that Sarah Palin was the one chance we had to break the GOP establishment stranglehold on a phony-baloney nomination process. When she demurred, all was kaput.  Romney is the establishment choice; and he will be the nominee.  Yes, he is by far a better everything than Obama, but after his first term in office, there will be exactly no real change in the way things are done.  I'm pinning my hopes on secession of at least one state, or more likely, a shift in the Earth's crust that will send us all back to square one  (and San Francisco to Davy Jone's locker room).  I mean this in the nicest possible way, of course.

I'm very close to joining the ABMitt camp. He will not change a freaking thing in DC. It's more of the same old Republican, "we'll just do it slower" garbage.

Maybe we do need to see donkeys clanging down streets, constant blackouts and flash mobs on a national basis because apparently, the nightmare we're now living, isn't nightmarish enough.

Dole McCain Romney Newt Paul
-same old same old- shite
Never have I been more disappointed after becoming so hopeful through The Tea Party Conservatives. Where are they?
And now the Newt/Palin V.P. being thrown out to secure a place for another business as usual DC Republican. Hate is a strong word for Romney, but it works for me. And it can be extended to the entire old school Rep's being shoved up our personal parts.

I have never been more ready for Sarah Palin.

Juice, read a little Frost. It will comfort you"

The people along the sand
All turn and look one way.
They turn their back on the land.
They look at the sea all day.

As long as it takes to pass
A ship keeps raising its hull;
The wetter ground like glass
Reflects a standing gull.

The land may vary more;
But wherever the truth may be---
The water comes ashore,
And the people look at the sea.

They cannot look out far.
They cannot look in deep.
But when was that ever a bar
To any watch they keep?

At this time I can't agree that romney will be the one to beat The Komrade President REMF. I believe, at least for now, that Romney being the nominee will all but guarantee that The Komrade REMF will be back for a second term. (In that case, god help us! And I am agnostic.) At this point in time, I am hoping that Gingrich will be the nominee, because, again at this point in time, he will be the one to whup The Komrade next November.

But time will tell, won't it.

So someone, please tell me - would president Mitt-for-brains really be any better than president shit-for-brains?
