Politico, A Democrat Media Complex Farm Team

Congratulations to Barr for moving from the farm team to The Show!

TheDC's Alex Pappas reports: "A Politico reporter who often penned stories about Sarah Palin and other Republicans has quit journalism to work with the Democratic Party in Arizona, sources tell The Daily Caller. That reporter, Andy Barr, has covered national politics for the publication since 2008. Barr leaving to help elect Democrats will likely fan the flames of critics who say Politico has a liberal bias.

Barr is not the first Politico reporter to leave for a Democratic gig. Congressional reporter Jonathan Allen left Politico in 2009 to work as an aide to Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a Florida Democrat, but he returned to Politico in 2010... While at Politico, Barr was a prolific writer of stories about Palin..." Who just bought a house in Arizona, coincidentally enough. Anyway, congratulations to Barr for moving from the farm team to The Show!  -

Colonel West vs Wasserman-Schultz: The American Hero vs the Hogan's Hero

Colonel West and Barack Obama both have a darker pigmentation than I do. Yet Colonel West is an accomplished retired soldier and a spellbinding speaker. Barack Obama is mediocre and boring with few skills outside of standing on street corners and agitating workers to riot.

Democrats, The Party of Flout

Democrats, The Party of Flout

Democrats are just too cute for words sometimes. I mean all the time.  Take for example the court decision mandating  DC's ruling Democrats must comply with the Second Amendment and allow gun ownership.  The city complied by issuing a lone gun dealer license to one Mr. Charles Sykes.  He opened shop but somehow almost immediately lost his lease.  From the WaTimes, the story of  the ensuing hilarity.

Federal law prohibits the sale of handguns across state lines. The state in which a gun is bought must transfer it to the federal firearms licensee in the purchaser’s state.

Without a federal firearms licensee, the city runs the risk of flouting the landmark 2008 U.S. Supreme Court decision in District of Columbia v. Heller, which ruled that the city’s long-standing ban on handguns was illegal.

In fact a lawsuit had been filed citing that very  flouting

But D.C. law prevents firearms dealers from opening shop within 300 feet of a residence, school, playground, public library, place of worship, or places with breathable air so, by golly,  there was no place for Sykes to conduct business.

Faced with that lawsuit, the city decided to allow Mr. Sykes to open shop.   In Police headquarters.

A federal judge for the Eastern District of Virginia on Friday dismissed the  lawsuit filed by three individuals and the Second Amendment Foundation, citing the efforts to accommodate Mr. Sykes and preliminary signs that he would accept the offer.
This from the people who claim any requirement that voters produce identification is too intimidating.  A cuteness too far.
