Last year Maryland's football
coach Ralph Friedgen was named ACC Coach of the Year. His
team rebounded from a poor 2009 season, posting a 9-4 record, a strong finish, and winning their bowl game. Despite having been earlier informed that his job was safe,
new Athletic Director Kevin Anderson fired Fridge anyway. It was
a very, very shabby performance on Maryland's part. Something
you'd expect Obama to do. Maryland repleced The Fridge with Randy Edsel, whom
was on NOBODY'S want list, This year we got our just desserts
(losing the last 8 games and finishing 2-10. There is no right way to
do the wrong thing.
