Just a squad of competent, not expert, riflemen with large capacity magazines can decimate a crowd of thousands in seconds.
Once the first hundred or so rifle rounds impact the crowd the ensuing stampede away from the shooters will make an English football riot seem well ordered. There will likely be more casualties among the rioters from the stampede than the rifle bullets.
This is one reason there are no large scale riots in Cuba, North Korea, etc. If the men with the rifles are willing to pull the triggers, it's instant massacre!
In those piss poor totalitarian Hell-holes it's only the government thugs with the ability to do this.
In America, any suburban or rural community of more than a few hundred can probably field such a squad of military veterans armed with magazine fed rifles in military calibers.
Wide scale rioting is certainly possible, but it will be confined in and adjacent to large Democrat controlled Hell-hole cities of particular demographic make up. I just can't picture a large, extended riot in SLC, can you?
At any rate, stock up on canned food, water purification gear, firearms, magazines and ammunition... and a good supply of popcorn so you can watch the show in the large Democrat controlled urban centers.

The sheer horror of having that miserable Son of a Bitch somehow make it to the White House would trump his color and the entire country would attend his hanging. To them his being Black would just be icing on the cake. Perfectly understandable. -

• to have 60% of his cabinet and staff under indictment at the same time.
• who, upon leaving the White House for the last time, had to get back up onto his feet, brush himself off, and have the back of his collar and pants seat pressed.
• to leave his successor's inauguration in handcuffs.
• to occupy Jeff Davis' old cell at Ft Monroe.
• to be deported.
