Why is there an assumption in there that if your unemployment benefits have expired that you are no longer looking for work? It is possible to look for work without government funding, you know.

They can say numbers all they want - what means something to me is the work force participation rate. The number of people who are eligible to work against the number of people who are actually doing so, tells me more about the state of the economy than any words the FedGov comes up with during an election year.
