I got 12 of 13 and still do not agree that unemployment is ony 9%

Jim, it asks what the gummint "says" the unemployment rate is.

The real question is, why are so many Americans asleep with their eyes open.

Yep, 13'd it. Not sure why anyone couldn't get at least 10. I kept waiting for the questions to get hard.

13 of 13 here. People don't read; hence, they do not comprehend.

13:13 That one was too easy.

I missed the symbol of the Republican Party... which is not so bad considering that the main difference between the two parties is the speed at which they want the government to take over our lives.

I guess it is better to go with the slower one because that way you have more time to apply the brakes.

I are teh 8% as well.

I also got 13. I think the test was easy for us people who read the newspaper, watch the news and enjoy books. It doesn't surprise me that only 8% got 13 out of 13. People are dumbing down and it scares the hell out of me!

They are the 99% ... the amount of DNA we have that is identical to chimps.

I also got 13/13. A few of them were hard, since I do not own/watch TV, the pictures are educated guesses.

BTW, the scores do not mean that 2 percent of the population are ignoramuses. Since there is a 2.37 percent chance of getting 0/13 just by guessing randomly.

It's rather depressing to think that that 75% of the population couldn't get more than 10 correct answers. Even when I was taking bonehead English and 3 hours of body and fender shop at Oakland Tech, I had a better idea of what was happening in the world and who was pulling the strings. I remember one kid who was a laughing stock because he did not know who was the Vice President; he would fit right in today

13/13 Here as well. Even on the ones I had a concern about, with their numbers and all, the answer was always the one closest to where the "real" answer probably is. (Yeah, I know the gov is clinging to the 9% unemployment rate, but we all understand it is considerably higher than that.).

13 correct for me as well. I did have to guess on number 7. Should I be ashamed that I had a hard time distinguishing between Kagan and Sotomayor?

12/13 - changed Israel to Saudi Arabia.

Thomas M- Evidently I guessed wrong on #7, but OTOH, aren't they pretty much interchangeable?

I got them all but I disagree that unemployment is 9%. It is at least 15% if not higher.

We all did well above average (I also got 13/13). But I thought Conservatives we so much less intelligent than Liberals! At least, that's what the folks at MSNBC said.

What are the chances Rachel Maddow scored above a 7?

rickn8or said...

Steve, you're right; but the question was "unemployment AS REPORTED by the government."

I only got 13 right, but that's because I stopped watching news years ago.

(I think I learned most of te facts from this site)

12 of 13. Didn't realize we lost that many in Afgan. Thought we only lost a couple hundred there and the bulk in Iraq.

I am one fart smeller....or something like that 13 of 13. Now the unemployment question was a trick one because anybody with half a brain already knows the numbers are lies anyway so why even report them - oh I see, the sheeple still believe that obummer is the messiah and can do no wrong and that honey seeps forth from his anal orifice.

I found them all very easy. Had some of the questions been about New Zealand then I might have run into problems. The U.S. is a far more interesting place than this backwater.

13/13!

Dang, we are some well informed knuckle-draggers.
