Carbonte- Click Click

Hitler's Mustache

Reject & Eject

Since the market opened on Monday through its close today, Carbonite stock (NASDAQ:CARB) has plummeted nearly 12 percent, outpacing the drop of the NASDAQ index in that same time period by nine-and-a-half points. It was also one of the biggest decliners on the NASDAQ on Tuesday. Read more:

Skoonj wrote that  he'd dropped his Carbonite account, and a few others too. El Jefe writes:

How Carbonite will pull out of Rush's show but not Ed Schultz's.

Carbonite now gets the El Jefe permanent blacklist.

Good.  A couple of years ago, after writing about losing a lot of files and wondering about Carbonite (which I'd learned about from Rush),  jodi, I think it was, e-mailed me that she had Carbonite and  recently had to restore her disk.  Said it was a godawful process; slow and bumpy.  So I bought an external disk drive and backed myself up.  Ahem.

The list below of other sponsers leaving Rush is complied by the leftist group Think Progress (Center for American Progress).  These are  people who lobbied FOX NEWS advertisers to bail because they didn't like Glenn Beck's influence on the public debate.  To this day I have refused to buy Sargento cheese products.

So far, Sleep Number, The Sleep Train, Quicken Loans, Legal Zoom, Citrix, Carbonite, ProFlowers, Tax Resolution, AOL, Bonobos, Sears, Allstate Insurance, Sensa, Bare Escentuals, Vitacost, Hadeed Carpet, Thompson Creek Windows, PolyCom, Service Magic, AccuQuote Life Insurance, Geico, John Deere, Stamps.com, St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Bethesda Sedation Dentistry, Cascades Dental, Philadelphia Orchestra, Goodwill Industries, Heart & Body Extract, Netflix, Downeast Energy, Capitol One, JCPenney, Matrix Direct, Reputation Rhino, Consolidated Credit, Constant Contact, RSVP Discount Beverage, and Cunningham Security have pulled ads from the program, and several others are considering following their lead. [John Podesta]

This is a culture war, and we need to beat hell out of those Zombies. Let your feelings be known to at least one of these companies.

I have mentally checked out of politics etc for i feel that what will be decided will be decided and my mental health is much better as a result(still voting as Mcarthiest as I can etc). But Ive got so say, this contraception debate has me losing it daily. That the poor little feminist slut has an audience with congress and her argument is that contraception is too expensive due to all the minorities and women she wants to bang to get back at daddy blows my mind. Insanity is being given gravitas and being debated like any other serious issue I have to ask how anyone could not see the democratic party is pure evil. Pelosi sits there eating this publicity stunt up and then the entire obamacare overreaching statist outrage is framed as poor miss spreadeagle vs mean old uptight behind the times conservatives who only have sex with the lights out and their clothes on. Even if this was about contraception why the fuck should the taxpayers pay for it. Banging without consequences a new amendment to the bill of rights? And to further prove the left is an evil empire to rival satans own, the news media is covering this like its just another serious congressional debate and not a comic circus. This girl wants to get it in!!!!!!!!! Who the F cares, why is this serious, my mind has melted.

pologies for the rant, felt good.

Dear ProFlowers,

Please remove my name and all information regarding me from your data base; this should include your affiliates also, Cherry Moon Farms, Red Envelope, Shari’s Berries, and Personal Creations.

Also, please remove names and information regarding all persons I have made purchases for.

I find it kind of absurd that Rush Limbaugh has probably been the best advertisement you have ever had. I was prompted to make purchases through you, by Rush’s recommendation. I have been very happy with the products purchased from you. But, as you have intimated, there is a time when affiliations must come to an end.

I truly hope that the people who have been most vocal for you to censure Rush, have also been instrumental in purchasing goods from you.

Received this note for West Coast radio stations, from the agency that handles McDonald's:

"Hi Everyone!!!

"Please double check to make sure we are not airing in any controversial programming!!! No Rush!!

"Thanks"

There isn't just the pressure at the Network level.

Oh my, I've buy Sargento Swiss slices because they seem to be the best at Kroger's. (Low sodium diet.) I'm going to settle for second best. Adios, Sargento...

As someone who has actually LISTENED to Rush since he showed up on the AM dial east of the Mississippi, when you have the most listened to talk show in the history of radio, your marketing people will either advertise on Rush, or get pastel women's underware (pink slips)

Rush today said that the "28" advertisers dropping out includes every affiliate ad; companies he doesn't even know about, numbering approximately 18,000 daily. 28 out of 18,000. fuck'em

Rush says that there are three new sponsors ready to sponsor him nationally starting next week, and that a couple of those who dropped out are begging to get back. (Carbonite? Anyone, anyone? Bueller?)

Wow, you got a good memory. I think it took 3 days. But, I did get it all back. And, now that we have a tornado coming down the street every weekend I am still using Carbonite. When I heard they dropped Rush....I thought idiots! The only reason I signed with you is because of Rush. And, Carbonite needs to know that. There are more of us than "them." Do they honestly think a liberal with a degree in woman's studies is backing up their Christmas family pictures? Stop dropping the people who support you.

Did you find an "i" in the lost and found?

Nearly time to replace the fridge and deep freeze; looks like Kenmore won't make the list this time (both current occupants are Kenmore). Any recommendations as to brand, Barn Army?
