Wheeeeeeeee!

Stuff to cheer about ...

and cry about

No, Dick Lugar was not "all about compromise." Dick Lugar was all about letting Democrats win! Republican voters are sick of Republicans letting Democrats win under the guise that this is how compromise takes place or this is how we get along.  [...]

Look at the support Scott Walker's getting in Wisconsin. After a tsunami of national union money into that state. After threats. After the conventional wisdom from the media said that Walker was dead. The polls all said Walker's finished, that he doesn't have chance, that Democrats are taking the state back.

Look at the voter turnout in Wisconsin! Walker, who didn't need a single vote for anything last night, got more votes than the two Democrats combined in Wisconsin. Are you kidding me? I mean, that says it all, or at least so much. [Rush Limbaugh]

RINO's are some of the lowest forms of life there are, because when you need them most is when they stab you in the back. And conservatives need to vote them out as soon as they show their true colors.

And it's so easy for conservatives to defeat them: Just don't vote for them. Conservatives think they have to vote for whoever the (R) candidate is, no matter how distasteful. So the RINOs keep winning.

But imagine if after McCain's first term, when conservatives realized he was a RINO, if they just hadn't voted for him next time he ran. Didn't vote for the (D)--just didn't vote in that race at all. Sure, the (D) may have won, and they would've had to deal with that next time around. But (R)s wouldn't have had to deal with the RINO any more.

And I'll bet it wouldn't take too many races like that before the RINOs realized they weren't going to win as (R)s and started running as (D)s (and losing there).

Best part is the state has a 'sore loser law'. Luger can't run as an independent-spoiler.

I didn't know that, HILN. That's terrific. Lugar can kiss my shiny metal butt. His rigor mortis smile, forever fixed on his face, always creeped me out.

Snackeater, You forgot to point out that not voting just isn't an option. If 1.5 million showed up to vote in a state but only half a million cast a vote in the Dem vs. RINO race, it would send an unmistakable message to the powers that be.

What the RINOs don't seem to get is that it is about representation, not bi-partisanship. The Donks and the RINOs assume a constituency that a good share of the time is not real. If someone would care to know the reason Mike Lee is senator from Utah and not Bennett, the insider deal-maker RINO, it is not because some unhappy Utahn stayed home. It's because somebody went to the local caucus and got themselves elected to be a
delegate. Politics is not just one Tuesday a year.

Binky--I agree 100%. Do everything you can to get a real conservative elected. But if the RINO still wins, then employ the no-vote tactic as a last resort. And I'm not advocating staying home--vote in all the other races, just not the RINO's race.
