Less than two weeks ago, Israel wiped out an Iranian arms factory in Sudan. There were eight F-15s (just four had bombs), rescue helicopters, an electronic warfare G-550, and a B-707 tanker. The range from Israel was comperable to Israel to Iran. The factory produced missiles and other weapons for Hamas and Hezbollah.

Israel will soon follow this up with an attack on Iran itself. Israel only has five tankers, so the size of the attack will be physically larger than the Sudan mission, but much smaller than a major air campaign would require.

Israel also has long range missiles, nuclear capable, which can reach Iran, plus three excellent submarines which can carry nuclear armed cruise missiles.

As the US CoJCS has said, Israel alone can just kick the can down the road two years. A US-Israel attack can make that five years. Only nuclear warheads can guarantee Iran's nuclear sites can never be accessed again. And Israel can do that without any US help.

PM Netanyahu was good enough to delay the strike until after the US election, thus avoiding influencing the campaign. He is unlikely to wait much longer. He knows President Obama will be an impediment, not a help to Israel, and will act alone. But that's not all Israel will do.

The tactical nuclear attack on Iran means Israeli air power will not be tied up with weeks of fighting in Iran. Instead, they will pursue a strategy similar to the 1967 war. They will do massive bombing of Hezbollah, send ground forces there and into Gaza, and occupy the Sinai.

Israel knows what is at stake, and how Obama has set up Israel's demise. They are not stupid, and know they must deal with all their enemies at once.

"They are not stupid, and know they must deal with all their enemies at once."

And the congregation say: "Come Now Lord Jesus!"

Do they have any friends? Nope. So their enemy is the entire world. Sounds about right to me.

On top of everything else we may be forced to put up with a few bowls of wrath not too far down the road. That's going to suck.

I-RIGHT-I, you may want to consult the news services. Israel has already started on Gaza.

With Obama as POTUS - Israel stands alone. They have to defend themselves. Better to be preemptive than dead.

I see the Israelis took out the Grand Poo-Pah of terror for the Palis-nice of them to capture it on video for us to cheer.

Although rather quick, I hope this asstwinkee had time enough to pucker up buttercup hearing it come in

Uh, oh. Even worse than I thought. The good news is Jesus is on the way. The bad news...you know that part too I imagine.

Egypt now threatens to get involved. This is Arab puffery, as they know they can't stand up to Israel's army. Israel, however, may take advantage by occupying the Sinai, thus blocking smuggling routes used to supply weapons to Hamas.

That will leave Hezbollah in the north. That will begin mainly as an air campaign, targeting missile storage bunkers first. Only after that will they move ground forces in. And, since the Syrian rebels are occupying Golan border villages, the Syrian army won't be available.

When ready, sub launched cruise missiles will be fired on Iran. These are called Hallmarks ... when you care enough to send the very best.

The Russians are waiting for Israel in Iran. The Hebes will fail. Israel will be attacked on three sides and will be over-run. The anguish on the American Jews will be succulent to witness. They voted 70% for the final death of their Israeli cousins. It will be the most magnificent piece of irony in 3000 years. Oye Veh.

Yes, Israel is surrounded by the enemy. Kind of like they were in the Six Day War.

I see those two together and my reaction is "want to trade?"
