Oh Good - Muslum Judges

Lousy Judges

Muslim Judges.  Ahem.

Res Ipsa Loquitor

A Muslim man, Talaag Elbayomy, was accused of storming out of the crowd and assaulting Perce, grabbing a sign around his neck and pulling until the strings choked him.

Perce had attired himself as a “zombie Muhammad” for the event, which enraged Elbayomy.

But then Mark Martin, a Muslim judge, scolded Perce for offending Islam at an Oct. 11, 2011, parade in Mechanicsburg, Pa., called him a “doofus” and accused him of “using the First Amendment” to enrage Muslims. The judge then dismissed charges filed by police against the Muslim defendant. [Judge in zombie Muhammad case reprimanded]

"The board voted to issue a letter of caution to Judge Martin as a private rebuke of his behavior and, thereafter, to close the case."

What does it take to remove him?

Scalia: Health Care Mandate ‘Can’t Be a Pig’
"Bitch Slaps" Judge Nancy?

Res Ipsa Loquitor

Justice Antonin Scalia continued a recent media push against the Supreme Court decision on the 2010 health care law Sunday.

In an appearance on “Fox News Sunday,” the Reagan appointee repeated his argument that the health insurance mandate in the law is unconstitutional, saying the majority opinion that it was a tax is not backed up.

You don’t interpret a penalty to be a pig. It can’t be a pig. What my dissent said ... was simply that there is no way to regard this penalty as a tax. It simply does not bear that meaning. In order to save the constitutionality, you cannot give the text a meaning it will not bear. [Roll Call]

Scalia went on to say that Obama's attempt to influence the court in April, by accusing “judicial activism,” had no effect on his decision on the case.  And then , in what I interpret to be an overt bitch-slap of both Obama and Chief Justice John Roberts, for changing his vote, said

What can he do to me, or to any of us? We have life tenures, and we have it precisely so we won’t be influenced by politics, by threats from anybody.

Pelosi: Republican Jews 'Being Exploited'

"And they're smart people."

9:55 AM, Jul 28, 2012 • By DANIEL HALPER

In an interview, House minority leader Nancy Pelosi said that she believes Republican Jews are "being exploited," but she was sure to add, "And they're smart people."

Pelosi made the comments in response to whether Jewish voters would support President Barack Obama in the presidential election later this year.

"I think [Obama] will" win the Jewish vote, Pelosi said, when pressed on the subject. "I think that he will, because the fact is when the facts get out. You know, as many of the Republicans are using Israel as an excuse, what they really want are tax cuts for the wealthy. So Israel, that can be one reason they put forth."

The interviewer then added, "That’s why some of the Republican Jewish supporters are really active."

Pelosi responded, "Well, that’s how they’re being exploited. And they’re smart people. They follow these issues. But they have to know the facts. And the fact is that President Obama has been the strongest person in terms of sanctions on Iran, which is important to Israel. He’s been the strongest person on whether it’s Iron Dome, David’s Sling, any of these weapons systems and initiatives that relate to Israel. He has been there over and over again."

The interview was conducted by Bloomberg's Al Hunt

Note: William Kristol: "Pelosi: President Obama's Been to Israel 'Over and Over Again.'"

Al Hunt is still alive?  Is he partrnering with Dan Rather and  HelenThomas?

Record number of coal-fired generators to be shut down in 2012

OBAMUNISM, The Party,
Record number of coal-fired generators to be shut down in 2012

What's to add?  Let''s skip to the comments.

messup

Res Ipsa LoquitorNow, these Coal fired electricity producing plants will effectively be "off-grid." There is literally nothing in the current system to fill this tremendous void. Not to mention the devastating effects this will have on employment, Tax revenue for these communities and costs of cleaning up all vacated building and properties.

Renewable energy costs are already increased around 32% over 2010 costs and soon going higher. This is reflected in residential , industrial and commercial operating budgets.

This White House has not only increased the cost of energy but has: reduced employment on a massive scale, decimated communities and their taxable revenues, shut down coal mines, caused widespread power grid lapses and disrupted a large swath of America's economic, mid-Atlantic states' livelihood [sic].

How could anybody in their right mind vote for four more years of this rambling disaster? God Save America. Amen.

Pedro

Apparently you failed to listen when Obama told us that he would shut down the coal industry. Obama has showed that it is his goal to bring this country to it's knee's. This monster of a man will be hard to stop. The American people can't see what he really stands for. The death of America and praise to allah.

A Firearm Owner’s Response to the Attack in Denver

Res Ipsa Loquitor

As a representative of the firearms community, if self-appointed, what I want to say to the general public is this:

We in the gun community are disgusted by James Holmes’ actions. What he did was evil. I can assure you that the majority of us wish we could have been there to stop this mass murder. If we had been able to do so, we would have reacted the way the armed 71-year-old man in the Internet cafe did just last week. If we could have, we would have shot first.

If you feel it is callous that the gun community disagrees with stronger restrictions on guns at a time like this, I respectfully ask that you listen, when the time is right, to our position with an open mind. We are good people who want to protect ourselves and our loved ones from situations precisely like the one we saw in Denver. I cannot state emphatically enough that we do not want more people killed. We want more lives saved. [A Firearm Owner’s Response to the Attack in Denver by Natalie Foster]

Obviously Ms. Foster's measured response will be more effective than the  GFY! I would likely issue- if I was still in the business of trying to change minds.  Another reason to vist her site are links to important developments in the Second Amendment culture - like the The Flashbang Bra Holster (RAK call your office).
