In yet another hint to Obummer that the nation can't wait to get rid of him, the University of Virgina refused an Obama campaign request to speak on campus. The NBC29 newsroom has received the following statement from University of Virginia Spokesperson Carol Wood:

I am writing to tell you that the University met with five members of the Obama Presidential Campaign on Wednesday. The campaign requested the use of one of two outdoor University venues  — the Amphitheater or the Harrison-Small Library plaza.  After reviewing the campaign's request for either of these two sites and the impact on the University, the University declined the request for the following reasons:

  • We're having our hair done
  • We'll be doing our nails
  • We might miss Publisher Clearing House knock
  • We're having our monthlies
  • We have nothing to wear
  • We've been grounded for staying out too late

Islamo Terror At The Train Station

Anti-Islamic Ads Target Metro-North Commuters

STAMFORD — -- Metro-North Railroad is reviewing its advertising policies after the latest controversial billboard linking Islam to terrorist attacks that currently appear at a handful of New Haven Line stations.
"They shouldn't have it up because all it does is add to an environment where everybody is mad and fighting each other," Harris said. "All it seems to do is insult and upset people, and if people want to have their view respected, they should show respect."

At the Darien rail station, Jonathan Suarez, 31, said he thought that advertisements whether pro-Israel or Palestinian were inappropriate for display along the rail tracks.

"If it's upsetting people I'm not surprised," Suarez said. "I don't think its appropriate to be putting up those types of advertisements on controversial subjects."

Simone Harris, of Norwalk, who commutes into the Darien station said the advertisement taken out by Geller's group seemed inflammatory, but said it and the pro-Palestinian advertisements were just examples of a wider lack of civility in public debate.

At the Greenwich station, the ad has been ripped in half. [Full]

"They shouldn't have it up because all it does is add to an environment where everybody is mad and fighting each other,"

? Who is everybody?  It seems to me the only people who could possibly be upset by the ad are Islamo terrorists, and fellow travelers.

By the way, Pam Geller's American Freedom Defense Initiative paid for the signs.  Clap Calp Clap Pam.

Recipe For Chaos From SOROS and the ACLU

The allies understand the danger posed to the nation by both George Soros and the ACLU; but this is beyond the pale.  Brietbart reports that in 2005 Soros bankrolled the 69-page ACLU report titled Rights and Wrongs at the RNC after the 2004 Republican Convention in New York City which detailed the extensive legal campaign the ACLU waged to suppress the police’s ability to keep order during anti-RNC protests.  That report has since become a blueprint for organized left-wing and anarchist terrorists.

[...]  Among the leftists protesting will be hordes of motley Occupiers, political puppeteers, Teamsters, Code Pink activists dressed as giant female body parts, open-borders extremists, vegan Marxists, and tattooed anarchists.

One plan is to erect a tent city called “Romneyville” alongside protests against any companies assisted by Bain Capital. These attacks mean to portray Romney as a heartless capitalist.

Democrat mayor Bob Buckhorn, a loyal Obama supporter, has joined with his city council to “negotiate” with the ACLU and the protestors for several months because the ACLU and protestors are demanding permits and special restraints on the police. While RNC is limited for security reasons, Buckhorn chose to use $57,000 in taxpayer money to rent an empty lot for protesters to “occupy” 24/7 in sight of it. He even approved distributing leaflets written by the city and the ACLU advising protesters of their rights and offering them access to an official hotline. Of course, Buckhorn is a leftist scumsucker; when he heard that a local strip club was featuring a Sarah Palin look-alike who would strip and sell her body, Buckhorn sneered, “I wonder whether the look-alike will be able to see Russia from the stage.”

Because of the left’s use of the tactics outlined in Rights and Wrongs at the RNC, cities that dare to host economic summits or try to restrict illegal Occupy encampments find themselves and their police virtually held hostage. [Full]

I've a hunch this will backfire on them.  My model is the 1968 Chicago Democrat Convention, where incipient Obamunists ran amok to the utter disgust of  a nation.  Nary a person watching wasn't (some secretly)  hoping the Chicago police would machine-gun the lot.  A plan emerges from that era.

In 1969 the Rolling Stones hired the Hells Angels MC to protect them during a concert in Altamont, CA. There were mixed reviews at the time, but all-in-all it  might be a plan.  What? To quote Justice Robert H. Jackson, "The Constitution is not a suicide pact"  And we are engaged in a civil war.  Yes we are.
