Corn Holed by the Gummint

       WHAT GUMMINT DOES
New E15 gas can ruin auto engines
The fuel industry’s American Petroleum Institute tested the 15 percent ethanol gas approved in 2010 and found it gums up fuel systems, prompts “check engine” lights to come on, and messes with fuel gauge readings "

" When Congress passed the law, it could not know it was creating this problem. "
The industry prefers pure fuel to an ethanol mix, but the report isn't likely to slow the administrations green push, according to a Washington auto lobbyist.

The New Three Branches of Government
  • The EPA,
  • The IRS
  • Obama's Executive Orders
Last November the governors of eight states and almost 200 members of Congress asked the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to suspend rules that mandate production of ethanol for use in gasoline.

The EPA said no.

If Obama started minting a new $25 bill with his picture on it nobody would stop him. It would be in circulation in 2 weeks and people would find it just spiffy. Boehner would wring his hands wondering what he could do about it. If Obama offered to print the Speaker of the House's name at the bottom he would then cheer.

Wait until you see what it does to the little primer bulb on a lawn mower. Melts it in three months, requiring a new carb.

If the Obamas can sue S&P for lowering the US Credit Rating, then this looks like a shoo-in for a class action lawsuit for damages!

The only good to come from ethanol is higher corn prices causing tortilla prices to go up. It pissed off the mexicans who could sell us their oil cheap but didnt. Food for oil. Seems fair.

ONE TIP: "StarTron."
I use it in my car; it saves the engine and would extend the life of anything (lawnmower, etc) you use it in.
