Wtf

Oh My
Here's a Pad poser.
My hotel wi-fi connect went down.  No problem.  I'll read a book on the Kindle ap.

But Oh no.  It seems no connect
to Amazon, no book.  I'm not blaming IPad for this. Should I?

You'e probably reading from the cloud. Check that you actually download the books to your device so you can read it any time, off line.

Go to LibriVox.org and download books in the public domain free of charge. Many good books and many good readers and once downloaded you are not at the mercy of an internet connection. Happy 4th Rodge.

I read a lot for Librivox. Find me there as "Chiquito"

no, you blame kindle.

As mech says, you have to make sure the book has been downloaded to the ipad before you lose your network connectivity.

We could blame you for not knowing you needed to do that since you're like a thousand years old or something, but that'd be just cruel.

Here's what you do. Follow these steps and you should be OK. 1) Apply all service packs and other updates. 2) Update the hardware drivers. 3) Check the system and application logs. 4) Return the BIOS settings to their default levels. 5) Run diagnostic tests on the hardware. 6) Update the BIOS. 7) Review the registry for strange looking items and delete them. That might fix the problem. Unless it makes it worse.

No wait. Never mind. That's how you fix a Windows blue screen of death.

When I have a problem with my iPad, I just turn the little sucker off, wait for a minute and then turn it back on. That has fixed it every time so far.

Laffing here,Boss.
I suffer the same exact abuse from my oldest Geek son and my demon spawn nieces and nephews.
One says she gets headaches from rolling her eyes while visiting.
