I woke up Friday morning with the shivers. This is supposed to be a tropical island with no need for bedcovers. Did Barry0 start a nuclear war we didn't hear about? We're surrounded by salt water. Isn't the ocean supposed to be absorbing lots of heat these days???

It was 59ยบ outside, and I thought we had a frost. The beach was like ice. Spent the weekend reorganizing the closet with all the winter clothes up front. Wetsuits on deck, bikinis vacuum bagged. Knit hats are freshly laundered and ready to go.

And I picked up every variety of instant hot beverage at Costco.
