And the future 'savings' and 'cuts' they promised ten years ago have never materialized. Its always 'spend now we'll cut later'. Later always arrives, but never the cuts or the savings.
The dollar and with it, us, are doomed to a financial Armageddon short of some sort of violence that eliminates or at least scares the living shit out of half the people in DC.
