That Throttling Town

Empathy for a Homesick Snowbird

I was in Scottsdale , AZ  the other day.

I saw a bumper sticker on a parked car  that read:  "I miss Chicago ."

So I broke the window, stole the radio,  shot out two of the tires, added an Obama bumper sticker and left a note  that read, "I hope this helps!"

"So I..."

If more people would take the time to help out fellow Americans like that this could possibly be a great nation once again.

"There's too many talkers and too few doers."

Maybe if the word got spread around that "doing" may be illegal but it's fun as hell and "what difference does it make" since illegal doesn't usually mean "evil" or "wrong" these days?

There's got to be a snazzy best selling T-shirt in that somewhere.

Snowbirds? From Chicago?

Nope, Snowbirds come from Canada. Clean, polite, careful, cheap.

Blackbirds come from Chicago, and I ain't talking race.

Thank you for the clarification, Fred. I'm mortified to admit that for many years, I thought it was a$$holes came from Chicago.
