Can a false widow spider kill you? Eight things you need to know

The False President spider depicted; False Widow look the same, with different marking.  Both can be deadly.  We may have HERE the genesis of the False First Widow ; deadliest ever!

Ever heard of the False Widow?  Me neither.  Most of the articles about it are of Brit origin (like this), so I thought maybe it was uniquely found there, but no.  It was just serendipity that led me that  example of how easy it s to introduce false science into mainstream every day life.

Spiders are a long time hobby of mine. The false widows are common here in southern Cal, seen them lots. They are harmless, although some people have a nasty reaction to their bite in the same way some have a nasty reaction to a bee sting.
