This is precisely why I keep referring to The Lying Mother-fucker-in-Chief as "The Ayatollah Obama".

I dunno...it does make it easier for soldiers to identify who to keep an eye on (or NOT turn their backs on) in combat situations tho....

Well then gay Sailors should be able to wear Carmen Miranda fruit basket hats on duty. Fair is fair.

for the record, the Captain in the photo appears to be a Sikh. and for a Sikh, i have NO problem at all with him wearing his turban in uniform, whether it be the ACU pattern in the photo or some other solid color.

Soon the military will be comprised largely of Taliban, Al Qaeda, hairy chested lesbians and prissy, Obama-like faggots and bisexuals.

Yes, the man with the turban is a Sikh. He's also a doctor, so the chance of his turban interfering with combat gear is slim to none.

I also have no problem with Jewish chaplains wearing a beard. They ain't on the front lines.

Forgive me Sarge but by that reasoning you should have no problem saluting some broad with a bag over her head.

These are NOT Arabs or Muslims! They are Sikhs, and are badass in a fight. It's good to have them. They have a true warrior spirit.

True that... I wouldn't have any problem with a Sikh covering my 6.
Have one working in my section that is an honorable person and an excellent soldier.

If a Sikh is on your side of a fight it is most likely he will win or die, with a smile on his face. All of that hairy stuff on his face has never been cut and the excess is tucked up in his turban along with the hair on his head. He will have Singh in part of his name, which means lion and he takes that warrior stuff seriously.

These are the guys we need on our side and we don't need to tie their hands behind their backs with nutty rules of engagement, just give them a mission and keep the do-gooders out of the way while they do their job.

I do think folks from an Asian culture might understand and Asian enemy and how to defeat him better that our Ivy League advisors to the current administration and the Sikhs are among the best in the world at doing that.

Cage match fight of the eternity - Sikhk vs Ghurka. Winner takes on ROK Marine Recon. Holy calling or pure enjoyment ends up taking on "just because".

stay safe.

Commenters, please pull your heads out of your arses and listen up.
The point of a dress code is unit cohesion. Letting each individual decide on a look or a style will give you a bunch of individuals, not a company of soldiers. In combat, soldiers will win every time.
If you're so Gay for Ghurkas, let them form their own companies, like Japs in WW2. Or pay the price.
