Sounds like he must have met that Chinese guy whose gggf was a peasant, his ggf a local official, his gf a mandarin, and he himself is once again a peasant.

It all goes in circles and cycles(cue theme music from Lion King).

I had a yellow 68 Chevy Caprice with a black vinyl top, mag wheels, 350 cu in motor and dual 4 barrel carbs. Punch the accelerator on that sucker and you get whiplash - and less than 10 MPH. Problems? Yep, I couldn't keep the front-end aligned, so tire wear was awful. Truth be known, there was not much technology or gears at work in the front-end of a rear-wheeled drive car. So we know that Detroit had built-in obsolescence combined with UAW workmanship.

Oops! typed MPH - meant MPG.

I don't see the problem. Your tire wear on the rear probably equaled things out. Mine was a '64 SS Impala hardtop slightly elevated evenly all around Maroon/Black sporting chrome reverse wheels with baby moons coving the lugs. Mexicans stole it.

Had an all black 64 SS Impala, all red interior. Total chick magnet. Took it to the Philippines in '66, then sold it in /69 for more than I paid for it.

Came back on PCS and bought me a '69 Chevelle 396, which I also took to the P.I. in 72 and sold for only a couple hundred less than I paid for it.

First car was a '50 Chevy, which two prisoners who escaped from Michigan City stole and wrapped around a utility pole in Louisa, Kentucky.

I sure have owned a lotta Chevys. Last one was a 2002 Monte Carlo, which I gave to my youngest son when he retired from the Navy a coupla years ago.

Really would like a Camaro, but not sure what the hell I'd do with it any more. Noplace to go these days 'cept to the doctor, dentist, and Commissary.

See the USA in your Chevrolet...I don't think I'll live long enough for the stink to wear off of GM to be able to buy another Chevy. F'ing bastards.

Mine was a 68 GTO, metallic bronze with black roof and interior, 400 cubes and two fours. I could blow the doors off 396 Chevelles, but on E5 pay I couldn't keep gas in the tank!

Bought moma a '67ChevII 4D sedan. 'Course it had the drive train from a '69SS Impala shoehorned under the body. Lotsa fun she had with that car...
