Who's the leader of the band ...

Band of (really, really bad) Brothers

Appointments: America is a country of 320 million people, most of them holding to traditional values. Yet President Obama keeps mining the fringes for his hires. Does he have any friends who aren't crackpots?

We were told the parade of anti-American subversives Obama came in contact with throughout his life amounted to ancient history. But now we have this roster of radical appointments, a current record that's harder to explain away and which raises the indefeasible question of whether they're a reflection of himself.
Seriously. The president keeps saying he champions the middle class and its values. But his choices of people to help him run the country are the most extreme in U.S. history, and his second-term nominations are more radical than the first.

No sooner had even some Senate Democrats joined Republicans in voting down a cop killer-coddler for civil rights chief, Debo Adegbile, than Obama sent up a 2nd Amendment-basher for U.S. Surgeon General. Dr. Vivek Murthy  .... <snip> Obama's previous appointees include:

• Valerie Jarrett, his closest White House adviser, whose father-in-law worked closely with Obama mentor and Communist Party leader Frank Marshall Davis in a number of front groups during the Cold War.
• David Axelrod, Obama's political aide, whose mother worked for a communist organ in New York and whose mentor was Soviet agent David Canter.
• Van Jones, an admitted communist hired by Jarrett as Obama's green jobs czar.
• Anita Dunn, former White House communications director and Obama's 2012 foreign policy debate coach, who listed communist dictator and mass murderer Mao Zedong as one of her two favorite philosophers whom "I turn to most" when questions arise.
• Cass Sunstein, Obama's regulatory czar who wrote a socialist "bill of rights" and who advocates redistributing wealth through climate-change policy.
• Samantha Power, ambassador to the United Nations, a 9/11 apologist who advised the president to follow a "doctrine of mea culpa" and literally bow down to foreign leaders as atonement for America's "sins."
• Anne-Marie Slaughter, former State Department policy chief, who advised the president to apologize for the War on Terror.
• Rashad Hussein, Obama's Mideast envoy, who once defended a convicted terrorist (then got caught lying about it), and drafted the president's Cairo speech apologizing for the War on Terror.
• Rose Gottemoeller, Obama's Soviet-sympathizing chief nuclear arms negotiator, who thinks America is a global "bully" and must unilaterally disarm for the sake of world peace.
• John Trasvina, assistant HUD secretary for fair housing who once headed the radical Mexican-American Legal Defense and Education Fund, whose co-founder made racist statements about whites.
• Cecilia Munoz, head of White House domestic policy who used to work for La Raza, the militant Latino group that advocates illegal immigrant rights.
• Erica Groshen, Bureau of Labor Statistics chief who sends her children to Camp Kinderland, aka "Commie Camp," a communist-founded institution where kids during the Cold War sang Soviet anthems.
• John Holdren, Obama's science czar, who's advised surrendering U.S. sovereignty to a "Planetary Regime" that will redistribute the West's wealth to underdeveloped countries and who once advocated "adding a sterilant to drinking water" to control population.
• Harold Koh, former State Department general counsel who believes in "trans-nationalism" and sees nothing wrong with Shariah law in U.S. courts.
• Tony West, associate attorney general who oversees Gitmo policy, even though he defended al-Qaida and Taliban terrorists including John Walker Lindh, who pleaded guilty to aiding the enemy and fighting U.S. troops in Afghanistan.
So what? In Washington, personnel are policy. These people make the rules we have to live by, from health care to home loans to homeland security.
And these radical political appointees hire other radicals at the bureaucratic levels, where they'll become entrenched as career federal employees.
In 2008, before Obama was nominated, we warned about his radical associations, including his ties to Davis — a hardened communist with a thick FBI file — at his Honolulu home. His defenders wrote off this Marxist indoctrination as youthful experimentation.

That was Friday's Investor's Business Daily editorial.  With just a few changes, it could have been an editorial written every year since 2009.   Obama has reached this  point.  Nary a day goes by without some documentary being shown, or essay being broadcast about the Hitler years (80 years ago!).  But why? We know everything there is to know (at least until the Hitler sex tapes are released).  We know that Chamberlain was a clueless berk; we know that Hitler could have been stopped at the Rhineland; we know that he was a monster (he wrote a book, for chrissake!); we know that his cohorts were a collection of perverts, druggies,  ne'er do wells and psychopaths.   Still we watch.  Same with Obama. 100 years from now people will be watching  Obama news reel film —saying "WTFF?"  You know I'm right. Oui?

I suspect a lot of people thought our system would just keep on working automatically and they could keep on trying to earn a living and getting on with their lives with a minimum attention paid to politics..
"Surprise, Surprise." Now that it is biting them in their pocket books and the rumblings of war are closing in they are starting to pay attention to what "Alternative Media" has been saying for years. I'm just crossing my fingers that 2014 election will be a turnaround.

If you Google the Nuremberg trials, as well as the other trials of Nazis, you find those that were tried, with some executed.

Almost without fail, those responsible were reprobate and the dregs of society. They acquired power because they were willing to circumvent decency and allow the monstrosities of the Nazis to continue.

The parallels to the Obama administration are obvious. How it all ends is the question that many are asking.

We knew all this going into 2008. The only Republican I can think of that raised hell was Palin and she didn't do a very good job at it. Once the GOP told her to shut it she did. There was no outcry to speak of. No investigations, George Winnie Butch didn't say shit. Rove didn't say shit, FOX News whimpered like a beat dog.

Conclusion: They wanted this.

Prior to Obama, my career was on a 15% per year incline from the mid 90's. Life was pretty good. I felt like I was surrounded by options continuously. Then, came the sucker punch to the bread basket. The economic body doubled over and sucked for air. It never caught its breath. The blows were too much. I am fortunate, I have stayed relatively where I was. I should not bitch too much. But I had bigger plans that depended on a dynamic economy, the likes of which I cannot find any more. I'll just ride it out from here and fish more, from a smaller boat than I had planned. It could be worse.

In the future, I will NEVER forgive an Obama voter. Their stupidity killed the careers of so many talented people, who eventually just let it go and gave up. Now they just do a job (just over broke). I will also look at the faces of black Americans and see COMMUNIST. If 97% of you swing one way, you are who you roll with. Since 2008 I have NOT Hired a bunch of both categories. I am real good at figuring out where you stand in an interview. -Anymouse

Anymouse, Americans are now expected by TWANLOC to call you prejudiced and expect you to be censored for what you said above.
I think
1. You are justified, and
2. You are on to something.
The producers in this country need to hang on to what they have and resist every effort by the Progs to steal their property and other things they've accomplished by their diligence, to be given to the takers.
The takers need to feel the consequences of their actions, which pain they were spared until recently by an American economic margin of safety, or what some call the Design Margin.
That's gone.
Screw them. Look around as you are doing, tour the parking lot for Uhbama stickers, Coexist stickers, Sierra Club stickers, and at the first need for a RIFF, guess who goes?
Make them feel the pain; make them turn on their Prog overlords. Never forgive them unless they can make restitution for the damage they've caused, which they aren't capable of doing.
I do believe if one of our Prog politicians showed up on my porch in a snowstorm, I'd shut the door in his face and call the cops about a trespasser. Might even crotch kick him first and call 'home invader', because that's what they have become, inserting themselves into every facet of our lives.
Damn them. They are Those Who Are No Longer Our Countrymen. TWANLOC

Hey Tailgunner, the funny thing about me being a racist is, I would hire every off the boat Haitian that walked through the door. Its a delicious fact here in Miami, if you want to get gangs out of your neighborhood, sell houses to Haitians. American blacks LOATHE them, they will sit all night at the window calling the cops on gang activity. You are who you roll with.

I think its time to reform youth groups that teach children who they are and instill old values. I have been kicking around the idea of trying to write a book about this. I think I would call it. "What I Would Teach My Southern Son". It would require an awful lot of unteaching don't you think?-Anymouse

Anymouse - I not sure I can recommend today's version, not knowing what it contains today, but the Boy Scout Handbook from ~60 years ago might be a good textbook for your course.

The violence wont come when the government confiscate and redistributes everything. It will come after they eat the seed corn.
